TA update

| Appreciation! To all of you for offering to play a role in supporting Spirit Week activities. This is a great way for advisory, class and all school community building. I know it is another item on the plate and am thankful for your enthusiasm
AND for supporting the EOYR conferences. I hope that you have meaningful conversations with your students and families.
AND we can’t forget Rachael and the junior TA teachers for their hard work on Prom! This has not been an easy one to plan! Thank you for creating a memorable event for our juniors and seniors.

Teaching and Learning
End of the year prep | As of today (Thursday May 12), there are 21 student days remaining: 6 flex block sessions, 9 gold days, 9 black days, 3 ELO Wednesdays, and 1 fabulous spirit week, in case anyone is keeping track. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Final scoring → If you teach any seniors and are concerned about they are at risk of not passing your course, make sure you contact their school counselor → For seniors, all final scores need to be entered in JumpRope by the end of the day Thursday 6/9 → For all other students, all final scores need to be entered in JumpRope, and verification delivered to the school counseling office, by Tuesday 6/14 at noon
Flex If you haven’t already for Quarter 4, now is a good time to have students self-reflect on the 10.02 rubric (here is a copy). At the end of Quarter 4, you will give them a final score for their participation in your flex block based on this rubric.
