Health Office Updates | We are excited to announce that the Waterbury Ambulance Service will be offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics at school locations in the coming weeks. These walk-in clinics will offer boosters and first or second doses to children and adults.
Boosters are recommended for many people who have completed their vaccine series. Check out the VDH website to find out if you should get a COVID-19 booster shot so that you can be up to date.
The Centers for Disease Control recently approved children ages 5 through 11 years to receive a booster shot 5 months after their initial vaccination series. The walk-in clinic will provide vaccines for both children and adults. No registration is needed.
We anticipate that there may be additional sites offered in the future.

Advisory | Appreciation! For everyone who stepped up this week to support students with all of the spirit week activities. With so many activities it takes all of us to help students max the event. Next week in advisory the focus is on the final push for academics. This will be a time for final academic check ins. Be sure to celebrate successes as well as guide anyone who might be struggling. With no ELO in the schedule for students until June 8th, it is important that we provide encouragement and support to end the year well. |
