2. Climate:   I have booked Troy Wunderlee, Big Top adventures and Circus Smirkus director  to perform for our on August 28 - 9:30 - 10:30 in the middle school gym.  He will focus on a inspirational/goal setting theme for our students! :) This will be a surprise for our kids... yes?

3.  Communication: Mark you calendars - August 17th - Middle School Retreat.  Breakfast and Lunch is provided.  I did not have time to organize the agenda - will do so this weekend.  Take a look next week and let me know of additions or changes.  I will provide the Per Diem forms for your time this day.

4. Communication: UPDATES:  Water fountains in the middle school will be fixed.  They will not be the fancy ones - but fixed they will be. The speakers in the middle school atrium (is this what you call it) are being fixed.  They do not work well - but will soon.  I will meet with Paul Morris to discuss possible snacks for middle schoolers to purchase during breakfast time this coming year.. still in progress.

5.  Climate:  Our middle school banner has arrived. I will place it on the outside of the school later next week and will be the focus of my first family blog post August 10, 2018.

6.  Communication: Please note:  8th Grade office shared space.  Mara Urban will utilize one of the team office spaces in the 8th grade area this coming year.  I am not sure if  you were aware of this.  I wanted to make sure everyone knows.  She will not see high school students in this space.  I will be her direct supervisor this year and we may be able to utilize her resources for prevention work more than in the past.

Have a great week.
